                                                              We have had a good season and the bulls
                                                              have served the commercial herd well.
                                                              Because of demand Tangihau Angus have
                                                              decided to increase the amount of bulls for
                                                              sale going forward. This year, Tangihau will
                                                              offer up to 40 two-year bulls for sale. Tangihau
                                                              aims to have in excess of 50 bulls on offer
                                                              in the coming years.  We believe the herd is
                                                              shaping up to have a strong set of genetics
                                                              which we consider is testament to strict culling
                                                              procedures and robust management.
                                                              All Tangihau Angus 2-year bulls offered for sale
                                                              will be inspected and those marked ‘AA’ have
                                                              passed for transfer. The sale will be conducted
                                                              alongside Cricklewood Angus.


         The team at Tangihau Angus kick off the East
         Coast Bull week with their annual on-farm sale
         at 9am on Monday 22nd June 2020. The team
         of thirteen full time staff are involved on the
         sale day and everyone is excited to launch a
         new sale initiative. “This year we have a charity
         bull which means all proceeds from the lot will
         be donated to our local Eastland Helicopter
         Rescue trust” says station manager and stud
         master, Dean McHardy. The lot will be chosen
         on the day of sale and introduced as the charity
         bull prior to bidding.
         The annual sale will be held on Monday 22nd
         June at the Tangihau Angus Sale Complex
         located at Tangihau Station, 119 Taumata
         Road, Rere, Gisborne. The sale complex hosts
         undercover seating overlooking the sale arena
         and has plenty of onsite car parking for those
