How the sale will operate

There will be two livestreams shown on bidr:
• One livestream of the sale proceedings with PGG Wrightson’s Auctioneer Cam Heggie
controlling the sale.
• Another livestream of the Helmsman Auction board including current bid prices and
countdown timer.
• Lot upset is $5000, with reserve set by the vendor
• The duration of the sale will be 40 minutes. Bids placed in the final two minutes will
trigger a two-minute time extension, however the overall time keeping will be at the
auctioneer’s discretion.
• Vendor bids are permitted. Vendor bids will be displayed by a “V” in buyer number entry
box on the Helmsman board.
There will be no online bidding – any remote bids can be placed by calling the contacts below.
Registrations will be open from Monday 4th May, 2021.

Conditions of Sale

1. The New Zealand Stock & Station Agent’s Association Conditions of Sale (NZSSAA Conditions of
Sale) and, to the extent deemed relevant by PGG Wrightson Limited (PGW), PGW’s Terms of Sale
apply to this sale. When proceeds are credited or a purchase is debited to a PGW monthly credit
account, then PGW’s Monthly Account Terms of Trade (as amended from time to time) apply to the
extent deemed relevant by PGW. These terms can be inspected at the registration desk. The current
versions of PGW’s Terms of Sale and Monthly Account Terms of Trade are also available online at:

2. All intending purchasers are required to register on the day of the sale at Orlando Country, Palmerston
North, or in advance by contacting Jan Turner of PGG Wrightson on 021 362 060. NOTE registration
and on-line bidding is not available via bidr
3. A commission of 6% of the gross sale proceeds shall be paid to the purchaser’s approved purchasing
livestock company.
4. Insurance is the responsibility of the purchaser at the conclusion of the sale.
5. All NZ Herefords National Sale entries have been sire verified & tested free of all commercially tested
genetic defects in accordance with NZ Herefords transfer rules.
6. All animals for sale at the National Seedstock sale meet National Sales Conditions, as outlined in the
NZ Herefords Rules & Regulations.
