Welcome to the 12th Annual Woodbank Angus Yearling
Bull Sale.

We’re very pleased with this year’s group of bulls we present
to you. They are all below breed average for birthweight.
This group is very sound phenotypically, clean up front with
good shoulders, reign of neck and supported with EBV data
suitable for mating yearling heifers. We have selected this
group of 40 from 200 yearling bulls.
Our yearling heifers have been pushed fairly hard around
the hills over the winter and are calving currently as I write
this, we are 75% through calving and are yet to assist any.
This is pretty normal for us and shows the level of calving
ease we have ingrained within our herd.

We urge you to consider your own program carefully, the size
of your heifers and the environmental circumstances when
selecting your bulls. Structural assessment is very important
as is the way your heifers are managed in the period before
mating through to weaning that first calf.

All bulls catalogued have been blood test clear of BDV and
vaccinated twice.
We wish to thank all previous purchasers and supporters
