The more we see of these cattle the more excited we are. We just love
our Jensen cattle. They have natural width and quality. His dam is an
excellent Wyoming Wind cow who is also the dam of Dasher H104 an
outstanding donor cow who we offered a flush from in our female sale.
His sire Tinor sure puts thump in cattle. We saw outstanding daughters
in France by Tinor which encouraged us to bring him in to the country.
Jensen is really adding some great qualities into his progeny. We really
love the punch, carcass and strength of bone he adds while remaining
on a very moderately framed animal. His daughters are exceptional.
These are the last sons of Jensen to be offered.

Braxton we believe is an exciting addition to the Charolais breed. We
have twice seen his sire Skaggs who is just a really good beef bull. He
is a structurally sound bull with that built in ruggedness we need in
this part of the world. Guy and Brent travelled to Canada and visited
the Steppler herd who purchased Braxton along with Beck Farms
for CAN$107,000. We were super impressed by this complete beef
bull and couldn’t be more happy and confident with the bull himself,
his sire and the superb sparrow cow herd that backs him up. He is
breeding really well in Canada and from what we are seeing here in the
types he is leaving he will fit really well in our herd and with what we
are already doing. We have more Braxton calves due this spring.

Landis is a polled bull we had originally catalogued for our 2017 sale. We
decided to retain him as we have been seeing some awesome females
coming through from his sire Focus. Combine this with his dam Dasher
H104 and you can see why we were so excited. His dam is the maternal
sister to Jensen and is out of the terrific Wyoming Wind cow E193 who
is still breeding exceptionally wel in our herd. We unfortunately lost him
with a broken leg just a week before he was due to go out with cows.
Fortunately we collected exportable semen before his untimely end. He
had an excellent temperament, softness, carcass and pedigree. This is the
second line up of Landis sons and he will have more coming next year.
We think they are lovely types of cattle.
