When National was born we thought he was possibly going to have a
future as a herd sire. His dam Opie G8 had always been a wonderful
cow. National was always a lovely shaped calf with a terrific sires head.
He always displayed a lovely softness with great width, sound structure,
big testicles and a wonderful temperament. What we really liked about
National was that he was an outcross polled bull with no Evolution
HOMOZYGOUS or Geddes in his pedigree, so would be great to cross over their
POLLED daughters. After using National for his first season we found out he
was homozygous polled which was a bonus. They are moderate types
with lovely heads and softness.

Nemo was selected and used over cows as a yearling bull. We really
liked the type of bull he was. He was so typical of all the Geddes
sons with that great carcass, thickness and thump. We thought he was
a great example of the type of bull that commercial buyers demand
at our sale every year. We have had our first set of calves last spring
and they look really promising. Like the Geddes calves they are
reasonably moderate at birth and then just kick on so well after that.
We think his mother is a lovely female and having Frampton in his
pedigree it really gives him the edge of adding more performance and
even better maternal attributes than Geddes himself.

Navarro is a bull we used as a yearling over yearling heifers. He was
a calf out of a 2 year old himself and was suitable for heifer mating.
Navarro was a great carcass type of bull with a terrific nature and a
lovely softeness. His dam has continued to be an exceptional breeder
and has another great bull at lot 12 in this years sale. Navarro has
left some of the best cattle we have had out of heifers. We think his
bulls are really solid, good types of cattle and his daughters are lovely
assets to be adding to our herd.
