Health & Safety

We are committed to providing a safe environment for our
employees, clients and attendees this includes our On Farm sale
here today.
For us to do this successfully we require your co-operation in
relation to all matters of safety including but not limited to the
following;
• Please follow any health & safety instruction and abide by all
safety signage and warnings including any of the vendor’s
or the venues specific health and safety rules. Please also
advise any hazards not already managed that you may be
aware of.
• Strictly no access into pens or rings where livestock are being
held or drafted - approach any member of staff to assist if
required.
• Ensure your own actions do not cause harm to any other
person or property and alert the agent in charge if you are
aware of any hazards on this site.
• In the event of an emergency, you will be guided to a safe
area by a member of our staff. Please make these staff aware
of any medical treatment that you may require.
• Take care when moving around the venue and be aware that
this is a working farm environment where machinery can be in
operation eg Tractors, milking sheds. Strictly no admittance to
areas of private residence unless permission is given.
Hazards that you may encounter onsite today could include;
1. Moving or stationery vehicles/ machinery – keep well away
from any vehicles or machinery in operation
2. Ponds – keep clear from any ponds or area of water
containment

Commission
5% will be paid to all recognised livestock companies introducing
purchasers prior to the sale. Accounts need to be settled in 14 days
of sale.

PURCHASING REBATE
All intending purchasers must register at the sales office prior to the
sale. NZ Farmers Livestock will pay a purchasing rebate of 5% of
the purchase price excluding GST, plus GST, to livestock companies
& recognised independent livestock agents with a NZ Farmers
Livestock account who have introduced buyers to NZ Farmers
Livestock before the sale and/or accompanied buyers to the sale.
