CONDITIONS OF SALE

1. The New Zealand Stock & Station Agent’s Association Conditions of Sale and, to the extent deemed relevant by PGG Wrightson
Limited (PGW), PGW’s Terms of Sale apply to this sale. When proceeds are credited or a purchase is debited to a PGW monthly
credit account, then PGW’s Monthly Account Terms of Trade (as amended from time to time) apply to the extent deemed
relevant by PGW. These terms can be inspected at the registration desk and on the wall in the auction room. The current
versions of PGW’s Terms of Sale and Monthly Account Terms of Trade are also available online at: www.pggwrightson.co.nz\Our-
Company\Terms-and-Conditions or in hardcopy on request.
2. All bulls carry a C10 TB Status and are deemed Brucellosis free.
3. All Bulls are tested clear of EBL and BVD and have been vaccinated for BVD and 7 in 1.
4. FERTILITY GUARANTEE: All bulls in this sale are guaranteed for a period of three years from sale to be fertile and stay
structurally sound. This guarantee excludes any fertility and breakdown issues due to illness or disease, physical injury, accident
or mismanagement. We recommend insuring your bull in order to cover these additional risks. In order for this guarantee to be
valid the purchaser needs to prove that all reasonable care and prudent management practices were maintained with regard to
the bull. Refunds will be given on a prorata basis relating to the number of years used less the salvage value. Fossil Creek Angus
do not operate a credit system at their sale, to ensure fairness to all purchasers at the sale.
5. DELIVERY: Bulls are delivered free to South Island purchasers if uplifted within one month of sale. Bulls delivered free to Feilding
for North Island purchasers.
6. All lots are sold GST exclusive.
7. Purchasers are asked to complete accurate booking instructions, delivery and insurance preferences at the conclusion of the
sale. Use the form at the back of this catalogue.
8. Please bring your NAIT number to the sale to complete the purchase documentation.
9. Please bring this catalogue to the sale.
10. REBATE: All intending purchasers must register at the sales office prior to the sale. PGW will pay a purchasing rebate of 6%
of the purchase price excluding GST, plus GST, to livestock companies & recognised independent livestock agents with a PGW
account who have introduced buyers to PGW before the sale and/or accompanied buyers to the sale.
11. Travel time from Christchurch is 3.5 hrs and from Dunedin 2 hrs.
12. Visitors are always welcome to inspect both the bulls and cow herds at any time by appointment.
13. SAFETY: The sale is conducted on a working farm so please exercise care at all times. Treat all electric fences as live. We have
been careful with our facilities and our cattle are docile but remember that you come to ‘Craigevar’ at your own risk.
14. INSURANCE: Insurance of your bulls is recommended and representatives from FMG will be at the sale. FMG have partnered
with Angus NZ to provide a special rate for bull insurance. All bulls will be automatically insured at the fall of the hammer with
FMG Ltd for a period of 14 DAYS from sale at no cost to the purchaser. All bulls will then be insured for a 12 MONTH period by
FMG at a rate of 6.5% which will be added to the purchase price by the booking company. The purchaser can decline the FMG
insurance offer or choose alternative cover by filling in the appropriate section in the purchasers slip.
